Helping Hand

Darkness falls as rain
covering my face like a mask
hiding my true emotions 
for fear of being hurt again and again
i hold daerly onto the rope of hope 
on the edge of hope just wishing for a hand
Some one to keep me from truely falling 
into the dark waters of true despare 
and total loss of control
i will never let go
but the rope frays day by day
My heart years for an escape 
and a glimmer of true happiness

Light shines as hope blossoms
Clouds part and all is bathed in bright light
Love gives hope to all
Bringing smiles to every face encountered
For every cloud passing over 
This heart shines through
A life lived is better than a life forsaken
Embrace every truth and share your soul
For every heart touch ed is another soul saved
Don't let moments pass, embrace them
No matter the outcome
I will be there through the pain and happiness
I am a rock that will never budge
A life vest just waiting for you to grab on

My heart tears asunder
Darkness dawns as the moon rises
My pain wallows under this mask
I created a persona to hide myself
Hiding behind a smile is a quiet sorrow
An end  is wanted but will never come
For even though I wish for it to stop
I will never let it beat me 
For quitting is not on my nature
I will defeat it by defeating my own mind
For I am true to myself
 and pain makes us human
so never give up no matter what happens
For every loss is truly a win
