Life

Life is only a long dream
Twisting and turning in all direction
At one point there were signs to show the way
As soon as the hope left so did they
In a blink of an eye all direction was lost
Left to drift this lonely road
Just awaiting for anything to show the way
But then one day the hope returned
And the complexity's all straightened out
The twists and turns are all gone now
I can finally relax and enjoy the ride 

Desires

Dark desires chasing my dreams
Pulling me , teetering near the edge
I feel the void with my toes
Knowing the end is coming closer
As i start to fall and embrace the quiet
I hear a voice calling my name
I turn and grab for waiting hands
You saved me from the cliff
I am always forevermore in your debt 

Fire

This fire is burning in my heart
It will never be exstingished
as long as you are with me
it will be burning strong
your love is like the tender
for this everlasting fire
your tenderness is the fuel
this fire will never go out
unless you drown it in tears
forever burning for you

Cage

This cage forever constricting 
locked away with no known key
sitting in the darkness all alone
hoping for the day i'm set free
you and you alone hold the key
It is your choice to set me free
I give my freedom to you
Do what you want but i will be waiting

Confines

In the confines of my mind
darkness flows like a river 
ever flowing and never ceasing
there is no end to this flood
having trouble seeing the light
then like a beacon from heaven
you enter my heart and the river runs dry
the darkness is gone and all that is left is happiness
you are the fire in my heart

Darkness

Down I plunge into the darkness
water and darkness surrounds me
searching , searching never finding
what is this i search for
what is it that will fill this void
all of a sudden there it is
what is this floating there
 It is calling me in
My soul , drifting through the deep
finally i can end this never ending search

Hesitations

I have been hurt so many times
so there are hesitations
 this time is different and good 
there is laughter instead of pain
there is amusement not abusing 
I give my all and i feel the return
I can be myself without worry
you know my pain and my resentment
but together all there is , is happyness

Seeds of dispare

The seeds of dispare have taken hold
fueled by my inner tears
they are never seen but are forgotten
what am i , these feelings are not mine
I am not supposed to feel this way
that is how i was raised 
so I keep them bottled up tight 
but with you i can pull the cork
there are no hesitations
I will give it everthing 

Contempt

Strolling the shore of contempt

the chasing of something good is gone

drifting through each day

all will has left me

but what is this, it is new

this feeling is something good

my life has meaning and the will is back

I can now wake from this endless dream

Sad songs

Sad songs play through my head
the darkness is singing , bearing me away
the feelings i keep bottled inside
tear away at my ever dying sanity
but as the last happy thought drains away
My heart sparks and my spirit wars
You are my guide from this sorrow
You are my shining star shooting across the blackness
I will always be happy when i see your face
I will cherish your smile till the dark creeps back

Fallen Angels

Fallen angels dancing through my dreams
Night filled skys teaming with stars
when i close my eyes all i see is you
my heart is yours for the taking
forevermore dance through my thoughts
I will only give up when you toss me away
Till then you keep my soul in your pocket
I reside in you and give you the key to my secrets
I feel you know me and i never have to be afraid
as the darkness closes around me there is a light
My fallen angel has come to carry me away
