Helping Hand

Darkness falls as rain
covering my face like a mask
hiding my true emotions 
for fear of being hurt again and again
i hold daerly onto the rope of hope 
on the edge of hope just wishing for a hand
Some one to keep me from truely falling 
into the dark waters of true despare 
and total loss of control
i will never let go
but the rope frays day by day
My heart years for an escape 
and a glimmer of true happiness

Clouds part

Light shines as hope blossoms
Clouds part and all is bathed in bright light
Love gives hope to all
Bringing smiles to every face encountered
For every cloud passing over 
This heart shines through
A life lived is better than a life forsaken
Embrace every truth and share your soul
For every heart touch ed is another soul saved
Don't let moments pass, embrace them
No matter the outcome
I will be there through the pain and happiness
I am a rock that will never budge
A life vest just waiting for you to grab on

Smiles

My heart tears asunder
Darkness dawns as the moon rises
My pain wallows under this mask
I created a persona to hide myself
Hiding behind a smile is a quiet sorrow
An end  is wanted but will never come
For even though I wish for it to stop
I will never let it beat me 
For quitting is not on my nature
I will defeat it by defeating my own mind
For I am true to myself
 and pain makes us human
so never give up no matter what happens
For every loss is truly a win

Poison

There is poison in my veins
Burning away my heart like acid
My sin crushes my soul
All happyness slips through my hands
There is no end to this endless torment
The last strand of hope is a rope 
Holding me over the abyss 
With one last look up I let go
Just wishing there was something 
or someone to catch me

Monster

They say a demon stalks the streets
The butcher they call him
A wolf in sheep's clothing
But I am not afraid
For I know him and he is me
Always roaming and looking for prey
Destroying all and giving nothing in return
A shell of a human nothing left but torment
Steer clear for nothing escapes his path

The soul that lives in my chest 
Will not let me fall
This heart keeps me strong
Love me or hate me I am always here
Not an angel nor a demon
Call me what you will
I walk this path alone
the way i live defines me
And my life will not be forgotten

Weight

The weight on my soul is crushing me
Shadows bleed and love burns
Clouds follow and rain black tears
Forever blinding and shadowing my future
All I want is that last black embrace
Why is it denied to me
There is a purpose to this existence
I will find it and forever hold on
For life is nothing but a brief wait 
For the night calls and
All you can do is grasp on 
to that on true inspiring, happy feeling
And let all else fall around you
